Outreach
Outreach brings historical research, interpretation, and educational work into public settings.
A Well-Regulated Press shares its work through talks, museum and historical-society programs, conference sessions, workshops, recorded presentations, and other opportunities for audiences to encounter the history directly.
Pownalborough Court House
Public programs at Pownalborough Court House connect the Prescott family, the surviving samplers, the historic site, and the research behind The Prescott Girls with visitors in the place where much of the story began.
A September 15, 2026 presentation continues that work with an informal program at the Court House.
New England Museum Association
Historic Reimaginings: From Artifact to Story Using Responsible AI will be presented at the New England Museum Association conference in November 2026.
The session focuses on practical ways museums can use research, historical evidence, expert review, and AI-assisted visualization to create stronger interpretation and visitor engagement.
Recorded Presentations
Recorded talks extend the reach of public programs beyond a single place or date. Presentations connected to the discovery and return of the Prescott family samplers allow audiences to revisit the research and share it with others.

Sharing the Work
Outreach completes the cycle by carrying preserved evidence, research, interpretation, and educational resources into conversations with wider audiences.
Community builds relationships around the work. Outreach helps those relationships and ideas travel further. Mission connects the six initiatives.
